We offer Self Catering Dorset holidays and short breaks in the attactive and quirky Old Bakery Wing/Cottage. This was originally the actual Bakery and Granary, so is full of character – it is now a one bedroom cottage attached to the house with all the comforts of home. Upstairs there is a very large bedroom with super king size bed, can be twin beds, and a large bathroom with a Jacuzzi Whirlpool bath, separate shower cubicle, basin and loo. Downstairs there is a fully equiped kitchen and a large sitting/dining room with French doors to a private patio and the garden – this accommodation is completely self contained, has it’s own front door and is comfortable, cosy and private.
- The kitchen has a cooker with hob, grill and fan oven, fridge, microwave, dishwasher and all usual kitchen equipment and utensils. There is a washing machine and tumbler dryer in the adjacent laundry room.
- The cottage is ideal for couples, whether a romantic getaway or a more prosaic walking holiday or simply to relax and explore Dorset! (The Super king bed can be twin beds on request).
- In addition we have 1 or 2 fold down beds available for small children that can make this into family friendly accommodation.
- Bed linen and towels are provided and are included in the price, as well as heating and electricity. Guests staying more than one week will have fresh linen & towels each week.
- Guests will have full use of our child friendly and dog proof garden in addition to their private patio overlooking the glorious Dorset countryside.
- Dogs are welcome – you can walk out of our garden straight onto public footpaths and through the fields.
- There will be a welcome pack for new arrivals comprising tea, coffee, sugar, milk, butter, marmalade, cereal and a loaf of homemade bread, so Day 1 breakfast will be catered.
CHANGE OVER DAY IS IDEALLY SATURDAY BUT WE ARE FLEXIBLE ON THIS! WE ARE OFFERING SHORT BREAKS ALL YEAR THIS YEAR. WE ARE ONLY BOOKING DIRECTLY FOR THE OLD BAKERY WING, NOT THROUGH ONLINE AGENTS SO TO FIND OUT MORE, AND/OR BOOK, CONTACT US DIRECTLY PLEASE.
The various methods of payment are: online banking transfer or cheque or payment by Debit Card is also available over the phone. (If you wish to use a Credit Card we charge a 1.5% fee).
CANCELLATION: In the event of a cancellation we will do our best to obtain a replacement booking and if successful we will return all monies received less the deposit which is non-returnable. CANCELLATION INSURANCE IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED.
NON-AVAILABILITY OF PROPERTY: If for any reason beyond our control, for example fire damage, the property is not available on the date booked, all monies received will be refunded in full but we shall not be liable for any further claims.
CLEANING AND DAMAGES: The cottage must be left clean and in good order. A charge will be made for exceptional cleaning and all damages.
